Cold candle flames guttering in an unseen breeze, the dead souls of the underworld twisted and drifted over the barren ground. Something was drawing them to us ...
In the second volume of the "Odyssey of a Slave" trilogy, Alexi, the Trojan slave of Odysseus, continues his ill-fated voyage with the Greeks after they leave the sacked city of Troy behind. But the respect Alexi had begun to earn with the Greeks is destroyed when he is unfairly blamed for a disaster. Encountering a sorceress, ravenous winds, man-eating creatures, and Hades himself in the land of the dead, Alexi must use his wits to aid Odyseus to overcome obstacles and regain his trust.
“Buckle up. Cursed by the Sea God moves with the speed of a thunderbolt released from Zeus' right hand. Between these pages, the Greek Gods rule again.”
